I downloaded the freeware version, and I can say at this point I am enjoying the benefits of this managing tool. I manage roughly 50 windows servers.

I installed the tool on my windows 7 machine and added a few windows server RDP connections. There are two issues I've noticed so far that I do not like:

1) When I connect to a machine with the Open Session (Embedded/Tabbed) option, the display is distorted. It makes for a lousy viewing experience.

2) When I right-click on a node and select Tools->Services, I get an error saying "access denied." The reason I get access denied is because I opened Remote Destkop Manager with my regular user account instead of my admin account. It would be nice if there was a way to open Remote Destkop Manager with my regular account but then be able to launch the Services or Computer Management tools as a different user.

It's just what we were looking for! One application to manage all your remote sessions.
We might buy the enterprise edition to be able to share the list of remote items between collegues.

I've only used this program for one day, and I'm absolutely hooked. I've also shared it with multiple co-workers. The feature set is unbelievable, especially for a free product.

Essential app, only minus is GUI`s a tad slow

Was looking for a simple program to manage the plethora of Remote Desktop connections I use on a daily basis. Let's face it, the dropdown list that MSTSC gives you is pretty lame. This fits the bill very nicely. Solid app, lots of options and customization with a nifty toolset. Interfacing with Putty is a huge plus. Only recommendations I would make: 1.) Speed up the GUI. Since it isn't stock Windows GUI, it's slower to draw and refresh. When my system first loads it up, it's taking a little while to draw it up but after that it is fine. 2.) Try to add WinSCP as something you can interface with. I haven't tried to see if using WinSCP under the FTP connection type works, but it would be nice to have. 3.) Getting a nonfriendly error when closing out a continuous ping box, but it is no big deal. Overall I've grown quite dependent on this application, it is essential to my daily work. Great job!

Wonderful piece of software, works very good for me, but it's not as good as the RDCMan used to be, pity I cannot find it anywhere.

remote desktop manager

I downloaded and tried the software on a windows xp laptop. It works great and does what I was looking for. I especially like the behaviour of systray icon when windows is minimized.
